Ok, so it's finally summer and ER is on break. So... it's time for me to start thinking about my character series once again. Remember way back in.. err, March, I said I was going to do a series of ER icons for every character? Well, as soon as I'm finished with "The Gallant Soldier..." and "21 Guns", I will finally be doing them.

Now I am still sick and having problems so I can't guarantee I'll be as fast with them as I used to be, but I've discovered that if I work on an empty stomach, I usually don't get real sick. (Weird, I know.) So I plan on making lots of icons despite these damn migraines, and I really hope you enjoy.

Here is the list of characters I will be making icons for. If you have any new requests, please let me know. (The only ship I will not do is Carby so please don't ask.) Also please note, I can only do icons for characters from seasons 6 - 12. However, I've had a request to do some Carol/Doug icons, and I will be looking for screencaps so I can make them for her. Today I absolutely couldn't stay away from the computer.. migraines or not. I've been dying to make icons, and once I got started, well, I was having tons of fun! At the moment I'm both dizzy as hell and sick to my stomach, but if I can get the nausea under control I will probably continue to make more.

Anyway here is batch # 2 from the ER episode "The Gallant Soldier...". Why this one and not the finale? Well, obviously I want to cover all episodes of season 12, but my main reason is I absolutely love iconing Neela. Parminder is such an amazing actress, and in this episode she just blew me away. So I felt the need to capture Neela's many emotions in icons. There will be plenty more from this episode and, yes, I will be making icons of the finale as well. However, right now, here you be. I'll probably be posting more over the next couple of days.

Just to let you all know I've been busy playing The Sims 2 (I'm addicted again), and also dealing with real life crapola. That's why I haven't made a whole lot of icons. I plan on making a whole bunch from the finale and The Gallant Hero very soon, I swear. I figure I have all summer to do my character series (which I did not forget about) so I'm not too hurried. Hopefully you can all hang in there and wait. There's already tons of great icons out there so I'm not sure mine will be very in demand, but I'll do the best I can. :)

I finally feel like making graphics again. I apologize to everyone for my departure. Sometimes I just need a break or I burn out. This is true with everything I do, unfortunately.

Need to do some work for the_triage right now, but when I'm finished with that, I'll start doing some icons. Look for ones from "The Gallant Soldier" and "21 Guns" as well as some Taylor Hicks (the new American Idol) and Clay Aiken (I was so inspired seeing him perform on the finale.. and his new look made me want to icon him more than ever.)

Over the next few months I will also be doing "House" icons. :)

Thanks to everyone who gives me such positive feedback. I know I'm not the most talented icon maker out there, but you all make me feel like I'm doing a good job. I really appreciate your comments more than you could ever know.

Sorry all... my little break from icon making has gone on a bit longer than I expected. Real life issues, health problems and an addiction to The Sims 2 is to blame. I will be making icons again, I promise, I'm just not going to give a date or time when they will be ready because I never meet my own deadlines.

One person did request Luka/Abby only screencaps from "21 Guns". I will get those done as soon as possible.

Screencaps from "21 Guns" will be available late Saturday/early Sunday. Then I will begin work on icons from both "The Gallant Soldier" and "21 Guns". Sorry for the delay. Real life is just kicking my butt right now. I'm still here and will still be bringing you lots of my purty icons, whether you like it or not. :P

I've been under a lot of stress lately, and I need a little break. Real life is crapping all over me (lovely metaphor, don't you think?) so I'm taking a bit of me time. I will be making icons from both "The Gallant Hero" and the upcoming "21 Guns", however, please don't expect any until at least Sunday. Right now I just want to chill and play The Sims 2 for a bit (wishing I could afford the latest expansion pack.. dammit).

Just got my hands on "The Gallant Hero and the Tragic Victor". I've never had an episode download so fast.. it only took two hours. Very awesome. I'll be screencapping it tonight and will have those available to you shortly.

The last of the "No Where To Hide" icons will be out sometime this weekend, and then get ready for the icons from "The Gallant Hero.." Luby will be first because I'm a luby maniac, then I'll go in order of scenes.

Edited again to add that I also have season 10 now. So the seasons I can now screencap are seasons 6, 7, 8, 10, 11 and 12. Nine is next on my list then I'll go back to the George Cloony days. I wanted all of Goran's years first.. for obvious reasons. (I love Goran!!!) I saved season 9 for the last because I find it a bit painful to watch my beloved Luka go through such hell, and because of the carby which makes me gag. However, if it has Goran in it, it comes before any other season.

From now on, this journal is just about the icons. So no review of ER here. If you want to read my reviews of ER, you'll have to read my other thoughts and depressing crapola too at my friends only journal, wintergrace76. If you want added, let me know here.

Oh yeah.. here are two icons I made for the_triage. The Susan one won third place.. yay! I've never won anything before. Then again, I don't usually enter contests. Feel free to snag and use them, just follow the normal rules.

I'll be doing a few more of the scenes in Africa, and then I'm going to skip "There Are No Angels Here" and move on to this week's episode. Just wanted to let you all know that I finally started iconing "No Where To Hide". I've decided, since I'm not a huge fan of the Africa episodes, not to make as many icons for that episode and "There Are No Angels Here". I will make some, of course, but I will probably just put them both together in one or two entries. This way I can catch up a bit and be ready for the big episodes that are coming up... luby madness, roomie madness, oh my!

I won't have as many screencaps for "There Are No Angels Here", but there will be some. When I've finished screencapping, I will post them in a zip file.

So there will be icons from "NWTH" and "TANAH" including Carter, but not as many as I've been making. I'll make tons more Carter when I do my character series this summer. I know I don't have a lot of Carter fans on my friends list, but I'm sure there are lots of people who still love him. (I'm not one of them, but hey, I'm a people pleaser.)

And why the hell can't I get into Dafont.com? I just keep getting a bloody error message.. Impossible to connect. WTF??

Before I get started on the icons for "No Where To Hide" and "There Are No Angels Here", I thought I'd make a few more luby icons from that promo scene. I fell in love with this style, and so I had to make a lot. ;) I used this tutorial by onetimeoffer. Hope you like these as well. :)

Truth is, I expected to have all of my "Strange Bedfellows" icons done tonight, but I'm sick and haven't been doing too well so I'm not finished, after all. However, I did get a lot done last night, and I'm just going to go ahead and post these as Part 1. There's not a lot of roomies in here yet (although there are quite a few of Neela and Ray from the final roomies scene), but I do promise I will have them up by this time tomorrow night. Just wanted to apologize that I've gotten behind again. I will be finishing up my "Strange Bedfellows" icons hopefuly tonight or tomorrow. The last batch will include a lot of Ray/Neela (both apart and together). There will also be some Luka, Sam, Morris, and Pratt in there.

I will then start on icons from "No Where To Hide". I go in order of scenes so except icons from the first part of the episode first. I am running behind due to some health problems and real life issues. I don't expect to do as many icons of "No Where To Hide" or this upcoming episode on Thursday "There Are No Angels Here"(I think that's the name anyway), but there will be plenty. So look for them sometime later this week.

Don't worry, I do remember that I promised to do roomies next. However, I have some icons I did for requests and entered in contests to dump. So if you want them, grab 'em. The usual rules apply.
